“Qui Lester (Lester Greenowski) assieme a Casey (The Brokendolls) e Frank (Perfect View), mentre i Kiss si apprestavano a cominciare il loro “End Of The Road Tour” abbiamo pensato di mettere assieme una compilation digitale tributo ai Kiss.
Subito ci siamo messi in contatto con più amici possibili e abbiamo cominciato a raccogliere cover dei Kiss registrate da band di tutto il mondo.
Da questo progetto sono escluse le tribute band dei Kiss (ce ne sono già tante). Il sogno sarebbe fare una sorta di Guinness dei primati come compilation con maggior numero di partecipanti al mondo.
Nel frattempo nel giugno del 2019 è mancato Alex Ruffini fotografo di rock’n’roll, grande fan dei Kiss e carissimo amico. Alex è morto di cancro, durante gli ultimi mesi della sua vita aveva fondato Cancer Drugs and Rock and Roll: http://www.cancerdrugsandrockandroll.org un’associazione benefica che raccoglie fondi per la ricerca.
Abbiamo deciso di intitolare la compilation “We Keep On Shoutin-Not Your Average Kiss Tribute” in riferimento a “Rock And Roll All Nite” di realizzare a nostre spese un numero limitato di serigrafie, circa 200, con un codice per il download dell’intero progetto e singoli download su BANDCAMP.
Sia le serigrafie che i download a singolo brano, saranno donati all’associazione di Alex per raccogliere fondi. Il termine entro cui inviare le registrazioni è il 31 Agosto 2020 e la pubblicazione sarà a Natale, quindi scegliete un brano non ancora scelto dei Kiss e vi aspettiamo!
